Liberty Capital Investment Corporation was incorporated on Ocrober l, 1989, in Oregon. The Company is a broker~dealer registered with the SEC and is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and Securities Insurance Protection Corpotation (SIPC). ·

## Revenue Recognition

## **Signifi¢qnt** *Judgements*

Revenue from contracts with customers includes commission income and fees from investment. banking and asset management services. The recognition and measurement ofrevenue is based ori the assessment of individual contracttetms. Significant judgement is requited to determjnewhether performance obligations are satisfied at a point ln time or over time; how to allocate transaction prices where multiple performance obligations ate identified; when to recogqize revenue based on the appropriate measure of the Company;s prngress under the contract; whether revenue should be presented gross or net of certain costs; and whether constraints on varialJle consideration should be applied due to uncertain future events.

#### *Commissions*

*Brqkerage commissions.* The Company buys and sells s.e.curities on behalf of its customers. Each time a customer enters into a buy or sell transaction, the Company charges a commission. Commiss.ion.s and relatedclearing expenses are recorded on the trade date. The Company believes thatthe performance obligation is satisfied oh the trade date because that is when the underlying financial instrument or purchaser is identified, the pricing is agreed upon and the risks and rewards of ownership of the securities' have· been transferred to/from the customer.

The Company maintains a Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees (SIMPLE-IRA) in which all employees receiving at least \$5,000 during any prior year are eligible to participate. Employees can elect to defer up to \$10,500 (\$13,000 if age 50 or older). The Company contributes 2% of wages up to \$4;500 for all employees. The contribution made for the year ended December 31, 2021, Was \$13,174.

The Company entered into a lease agreement effective 11.llY 1, 2006, for lease of office space and parking. Parking is atthe current market rate. The agreement was extended through December 2021, with monthly rent at \$5,096. The office lease was extended January l,2022 through April 30,2025 with monthly rent at \$5,770.for 12months; \$5,943 for the next 12 months, \$6,121 for the next 12 months and \$f?,305 forthe final 4 ITIOiiths.
